The challenges of the social worker's work in times of the Covid-19 pandemic and neoconservatism in Brazil

The aim of this article is to understand the perception, performance and demands placed on social work in the health sector during the Covid-19 pandemic in the context of the country's political neo-conservatism. The method used was bibliographical research in scientific articles published in the field of social work. The results reinforce the importance of analyzing the challenges posed to social work in the neoconservative political reality during the pandemic by studying in greater depth this unique historical moment and the impacts experienced by the profession. We believe that the production of this research will make fundamental contributions to the profession, with important reflections on the professional practice of the social worker.
