This article is an experience report on a workshop conducted in collaboration with a class at the Professor Luiza de Castro Ferreira e Silva Municipal School, in line with an activity proposed by the Pedagogical Practice subject, with the aim of addressing the issue of inclusive education with the community. The target audience selected was a group of 40 students aged between 9 and 12. Dynamic and participatory activities were carried out to give them a better understanding of some disabilities and their particularities, using the characters from the animated series “Monica's Gang”, who have such representations, as a resource. Based on these activities, a mural was created with drawings made by the children, which was exhibited to the Chemistry degree class. This experience made a significant contribution to expanding the students' knowledge of the subject, thus promoting greater inclusion and respect for others.
