School Electronic Ballot Box: An application created to assist democratic management

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of democratic management in schools, highlighting its legal importance and the challenges faced in holding student elections. An exploratory study at a municipal school in São Gonçalo revealed the absence of class representative elections due to a lack of time on the part of the management team. In view of this, the project proposes to facilitate these processes by means of a Digital Electronic Urn, with the aim of promoting student participation in a democratic and efficient manner.
