Abstract

This study analyzes the life stories of former pupils and former teachers in confessional schools from the 1940s to the 1960s, highlighting their experiences in professional training. Using content analysis based on the New History, the focus is on the memories of women from the far south of Piauí, highlighting the challenges they faced and their educational practices.
