Abstract
The present work aims to report the experience of the Extension Course "A Cartography of Good Living", developed at the Federal Institute of Tocantins - Palmas Campus. The course promoted an interdisciplinary approach to the concepts of good living, serene degrowth, voluntary simplicity and sustainable development. The methodology used was based on directed study, combining readings, face-to-face debates and practical activities, such as holding a solidarity exchange fair. The results indicate that participation in the course enabled students to critically reflect on their lifestyles and the impact of their daily choices, promoting greater awareness about sustainability and quality of life. In addition, the activities developed demonstrated the relevance of the course to expand the academic and community debate on alternative forms of development. It is concluded that the extension course contributed significantly to the training of the participants, encouraging a more reflective and proactive posture in the face of contemporary socio-environmental challenge.
