DE&I (DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION): A STUDY ON LABOR PRODUCTIVITY AND ITS STRUCTURAL DIFFICULTIES
Keywords:
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, ProductivityAbstract
Through the analysis of stakeholder perceptions, this study explored the productivity in organizations of people who fit into a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) universe. The methodology used was qualitative, with semi-structured interview techniques, based on a script with pre-elaborated questions. To understand personal data, the study of Lawrence Bardin's arguments was defined. The observation of labor productivity and the difficulties encountered in a DE&I environment reinforce the need for a change in personnel policies for diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizations. Since indigenous peoples, women, blacks, black women, the elderly, adolescents, LGBTQIA+ people and a diversity of functional or neurodivergent PWDs, are as productive as any other human being, despite all the setbacks reported in the interviews.
