Tinnitus, characterized by the perception of sound in the absence of an external source, often coexists with anxiety disorders, presenting a challenging clinical scenario. This article synthesizes findings from indexed medical journals to elucidate the intrinsic relationship between tinnitus and anxiety. By examining epidemiological data, neurobiological mechanisms and clinical implications, it offers insights into the bidirectional impact of these conditions and highlights the importance of comprehensive management strategies.
