This article has reviewed the challenges, advancements, and prospects of this technology. Challenges include the complexity of human skin and the need to overcome skin barriers. Technological advances, such as the use of absorption promoters and advanced delivery systems, have shown promising results. Future prospects include the customization of delivery systems and the integration of real-time monitoring technologies.
