Abstract
This article deals with the importance of fire prevention and protection in schools, aiming at partnerships to primarily protect the lives of individuals present at school in situations of uncontrolled fire propagation, punctuating strategies to combat it. The main fire safety strategies (SCI), specifically, in public schools, in order to understand how the municipality has been dealing with this highly relevant subject. An empirical, qualitative, bibliographical research was used as a methodology, mainly considering the thoughts of the authors: Rego, who has dealt with this theme. It is necessary that the school forms its school brigade and adopts training in fire fighting and first aid notions, as basic safety requirements.
