Abstract

Introduction: A good quality of life at work is a crucial aspect for the well-being and satisfaction of professionals in their work activities. In the context of manicurists, who play an important role in the aesthetic care of nails and hands, quality of life at work can be influenced by various factors. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the quality of life at work of manicurists in a municipality in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Methodology: This study adopted a descriptive and exploratory approach, using a quantitative methodology. Initially, a bibliographical survey was carried out to provide a theoretical basis for the research. A questionnaire was then administered to a group of manicurists in the municipality in order to obtain data on different aspects related to quality of life at work. Results: The results obtained revealed important perceptions about the quality of life at work of manicurists in the municipality of Minas Gerais. Among the main findings were the manicurists' job satisfaction, autonomy at work, relationships with clients, working conditions and occupational health and safety aspects. Conclusion: Based on the results obtained, it was possible to identify the main factors that influence the quality of life at work of manicurists in the municipality of Minas Gerais. This information is important for understanding the needs and challenges faced by these professionals, as well as for supporting the implementation of policies and practices aimed at improving quality of life at work and promoting the well-being of manicurists.
